The EPA at Easter?

Why you may ask, am I driving around the day before Easter with a Kmart bag a 1/4 full of driveway material?

Why was I walking around the Littleton Fire Department with the same bag of material only an hour ago?

Why are the rocks in the bag brown and white and the rocks in my driveway black and gray?

Monday night last, I walked out the door and yelled at the worker in the Kitchen’s Driveway that there was a Dumpster behind him why didn’t he use that instead of dumping shit under my Aspen tree.  He laughed and said “Oh Yea, O.K.”

Knowing that I caught him red faced and red handed he bugged out of the store’s driveway and disappeared.  I got the last three letters of his Colorado Plate,,NYH.

The next morning the family and I took off for two nights at the Best Western  in Albuquerque ( a mile from Chris and Nicole’s) some 444 miles south of Littleton.

I had a week off and we love New Mexico.  I spent time at Santuario De Chimayo, 27 miles Northwest of Santa Fe.  This is a Shrine that is “The Loures of the West” and has seen many miracles of healing in the last 200 years.  This is so wonderful that I returned on Holy Thursday for a second time of this trip and then we headed to Taos and Raton Pass and Denver getting home about 8:30 that night.

Good Friday Morning I was out inspecting the place where the bucket of shit was dumped and was amazed to find two new holes where liquid of some kind had been poured over the 4 foot chain link fence that is on the property line between the store’s paved ramp driveway and my gravel driveway.

I was incensed that the idiot that poured the stuff out when I caught him continued to do the same when I was out of town.  I called the cops.

This was not the first time Littleton’s officers have visited because of Illegal dumping.  The last time it was painters, spewing black turpentine all over the driveway  and they painted my porch for the privilege.

This time Tim and Vanessa came out. They were very nice and listened and walked over to the store and came back and proceeded to tell me how to conduct evidence gathering.  The only damage that has been done is that Helen’s strawberries bit the dust and the Aspen tree is dead on one side.

My daughter and her brand new husband Kevin came by this afternoon and congratulations were heard all around.  They had been married on a business trip to Las Vegas.  They loved Helen’s Sisters and enjoyed themselves tremendously. This is Very Nice.  Helen and I are excited for them and very very happy.

Kevin is a former Jersey Cop and he mentioned that if it is haz-mat I got them by the balz.  that is why I am driving around town with a bag of driveway material.

Oh, and the Nightmare Part?  Helen is feeling like she has the flu just days after returning from Chimayo.

Question?  Does anybody know anybody at the EPA?  Does anybody know an environmental attorney?  I’m just getting warmed up.  Time to do battle.

Happy Easter 2008
